Hiroshi Fujimoto (藤本 弘, Fujimoto Hiroshi), pen name Fujiko F. Fujio (藤子・F・不二雄, Fujiko Efu Fujio), born in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, is seen as one of the greatest figures in the Japanese manga world.
He met his partner Motoo Abiko (Fujiko A. Fujio) when they were in elementary school. In the early days, they drew manga together under the name Fujiko Fujio, but stopped working together after Obake no Q-tarou.
